booty shakin all around

ways my life has been full of awesomesauce over the past few weeks:

- i lost 4 more lbs

- paid vacation until jan 4th

- post-holiday sales on stuff i wanted

- shakin it with friends in providence

- buying (500) days of summer on dvd

- flowerbomb (by viktor & rolf) - i smell like sex on a stick

- volunteering at a sugar house and getting to make maple syrup

- i have a new nickname - dara and laura proudly call me 'princess MF'

- swedish graphic designer is using one of my flickr shots on a book cover ($$)

- gingerbread soy latte and reading a book while in one of the comfy chairs at starbucks

-dancing around my sister's kitchen while wearing the satin eye masks that we both received from her mother-in-law as part of our christmas gifts

i can't wait to be home for christmas this year.

the world is your snowball

so remember in july when i had that idea to go blonde? yeah, bad move. it dried my hair out like a bastid. tomorrow i make a triumphant return to brunette.

the cut will be a little different, since i need to cut most of the dried, dead ends out. but never fear, readership, it will not be short. that is a lesson i have learned fo life.

i'm thinking marlo thomas meets zooey deschanel in 500 days of summer.

phil spector might be a murdering creep, but dammit he produced some catchy tunes. that wall o'sound will getcha.

i think people should mate for life, like pigeons or catholics.

i've answered my own question, and the answer is 'no,' at least for me. i can't be friends with an ex. my heart isn't strong enough. i care too much. i cry too much. i feel too much.

it's not that i'm not over jan 09, but it's pretty clear to me that i have stronger feelings for him than he does for me. those feelings never really disappeared for me. i thought they had. surprise! those feelings are now forming an ulcer in my stomach.

the past few days have been bad. lots of crying and feelings from the past came creeping back. sorry friends, if i've been retreating from life. keep on trying to make me laugh - i promise i will laugh out loud soon.

i'm determined to learn something from this experience other than how many kleenex one person can use over a single person.

i just want the pain to go away. fuck.

16. contact one of your professors and thank them (2005, prof lordi, email)
17. visit the home of a dead celebrity (graceland, 2006 & 2008)
18. meet my aunt rose
19. go to a gay bar (and i didn't even know it. thanks earl, club cafe 2006)
20. skinny dip (september 2009, salem NH)
21. hang a 'you are beautiful sticker' somewhere (undisclosed location, 2008)
22. convince someone to buy something you made (november 2009 - 3 items on etsy!)
23. run through the rain (spring break 2003 with tae, en route to PA)

25. meet one of the surviving golden girls. if they all pass on by the time you get to this, visit one of their graves and leave a piece of cheesecake for the afterlife.
26. send a message in a bottle via the ocean, include your email and multiple translations of your message (sent off into the sea on december 3, 2009)
27. take my dad to a red sox game at fenway park (fathers day 2008)
